I have been fortunate enough to have had 4 careers.  After college I started my first career in Finance, spending 20 years in the discipline and 14 of it with First Interstate Bank (now Wells Fargo).  From Assistant Bank Branch Manager through Commercial Credit to Financial Consultant I have experience in many aspects of Finance.  In addition to Credit Analysis, I also worked on several merger and acquisition projects and in my final years was doing ad hoc analysis in various fields for the bank's holding company working for the Board of Directors.  I also completed my Masters in Business at USC while with the bank.

I took off a little time to be home with my kids as they entered middle school.  I went back to school to get a Teaching Credential and taught Math for a few years until my kids were so busy that they were getting home later than I was.

I found myself with an opportunity to get into Computer Programming with a Top Gun program that trained experienced professionals in programming with a short 4 month intense romp through all the major programming languages being used in the late 90's.  I interned with Salt River Project for 9 months and finally became an employee where I spent the 10 years until I retired in from SRP in 2011. Since then I have been working as a software developer contractor. My most recent stints were with Wells Fargo and Carollo Engineering.

In May 2011 I upgraded my programming skills with  courses in .NET 4.0 Web, Windows, ADO, and Windows Communications Foundation courses.  I also earned several Microsoft Certifications in 2011 including MCT.  With my last contract job I added working with SharePoint 2007 and developing web parts and sites.

I am now looking at getting back in to full time work as a developer or IT trainer.
